Robot Monster
To make the Robot Monster you need a pencil, a ruler and some markers. Draw a circle in the middle of the page. The circle must be 10cm wide and 8.9cm long. Color the circle yellow. Over the circle draw a pink rectangle14cm long and 2.5cm wide. These are the arms. Color the arms pink. At the end of the two sides draw three fingers purple. Each finger must be 1cm wide and 2cm long. Over the rectangle draw two pink lines for the neck. Each line must be 1cm long and and 1.2cm apart from each other. Color the neck pink. Over the two lines draw a blue square to make the head. The head must be 6cm long and 6cm wide. Inside the square draw a purple rectangle that is the mouth that is 4.8cm long and 1cm wide. Color the rectangle purple. Over the mouth draw a nose. The nose is a triangle. Each side of the nose is 1.3cm long and 0.5cm wide. On the top of the nose there are two green eyes. The eyes are squares. They are 0.5cm long and 0.5cm wide. To draw the hair you have to do some small rectangles. Each rectangle is 1cm long and 0.4cm wide. Color the first one yellow and the other one green. Make these colors alternate. Under the yellow circle draw two other purple rectangles to make the legs. The legs must be 8cm long and 2.3cm wide. They must be at an angle of 60 degrees. Under the legs make three blue toes. Each toe must be 2cm long and 0.9cm wide. Color each toe blue.

The compass was invented in China. It was invented between the years of 221-206b.c. To make a compass you get the needle, a pivot or a short pin. First you get the needle. Then you get the pivot and you attach it to a compass card. In China they used the compass to travel so that they didn’t get lost and they knew they were going the right way. In the years 850-1050 they began to use compasses to travel in ships. During 1371-1435 Zheng He, a Chinese explorer, used the compass on a ship. The compass changed China because before they could get lost. After this invention they can travel without getting lost.

“Do you want to watch TV with me?” said Sam excitedly.
“Sure!” said Tom, “but what are we going to watch?” said Sam looking straight at him.
“Let’s watch my favorite cartoon,” said Tom laughing.
“No! I don’t like that cartoon because only babies can watch it!” shouted Sam.
“No that’s not true, the cartoon is fantastic and it starts right now so please watch this movie!” said Tom sadly.
“I hate you, give me that remote because if you don’t I will make you clean my liter box!” said Sam happily.
“No! I am smaller than you and the smaller children always get to go first,” said Tom angrily.
“Let me see this cartoon and then we will see your favorite,” Said Tom.
“Ok,” said Sam.
